Calonge Cider House is much more than a business; it is the living story of a passion passed down through generations. It all began with our grandfather, whose vision transformed the family’s tradition.
He left the world of cattle farming behind to dedicate himself to the craft of cider making, filling our first barrels with the fruits of his hard work and dedication (and cider, of course).
His son, Joxe Krutz, carried Calonge forward with the same passion and commitment. For many years, we focused exclusively on crafting cider, carefully preserving every step of this traditional process.
In 1986, we took the next step by opening the cider house to the public during the txotx season, inviting everyone to become part of our tradition.
Calonge remained true to this seasonal model for many years. Then, in 2003, we began a new chapter with a complete renovation that allowed us to evolve and create an even better experience for everyone who visits us.
Today, as the third generation, we proudly lead Calonge Cider House, honouring our roots while looking confidently towards the future.
We do so alongside an exceptional team, remaining true to the legacy that came before us.
Building on the knowledge passed down through generations, we have embraced innovation to create the perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
We look forward to welcoming you.
